Khaoula Masmoudi is a Dr. Ing in Environmental Science and Technology, graduated from Technical University of Berlin, and a Dr.Ing in Applied Chemistry graduated from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT) in Tunisia. Her research carrier began in 2011 at the Centre for Water Research and Technologies (CERTE) in Tunisia. She has worked as the project manager for various international projects, such as SWMED (Sustainable Domestic Water Use in Mediterranean Regions)(https://www.swmed.eu/),,) SUSPIRE (Sustainable Decentralized Industrial Wastewater Recycling in Rural Areas – Poultry Slaughterhouse as an Example),and AGREEMed (Innovative Aquifer Governance for Resilient Water Management and Sustainable Ecosystems in Stressed Mediterranean Agricultural Areas)(https://agreemed.eu/)..) Her role as project manager has allowed her to collaborate with diverse partners from Mediterranean and European regions. Currently, she is a research assistant at Trier University of Applied Sciences – Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, specializing in sustainable water management. Moreover, she will be delivering lectures for the International Material Flow Management (IMAT) Master’s Program in addition to chineese students from Foshan University under the "Interdisciplinary Projects" program.
